I’ll be back to regular beer-food-beer posting after this slight diversion; I don’t think I got around to posting about my new ink! Not sure how I forgot, must have been because I was in the middle of finals fever – I forgot a lot of things in those two weeks (sorry hubsand…).

The gals and I had been tossing around the idea of getting some new ink done together for a while, but had been totally lazy about actually doing something about the fabulous idea. Mars got caught up, but Mags and I got ours done a few weeks ago with Scott White over at Altered State Tattoo.

I went with a design idea I’ve been sitting on for a few years, and I decided after revisiting it that she definitely looked like my idea of a goddess. Since I couldn’t find an actual representation of Latis, the Celtic Goddess of Beer & Water anywhere, that I would declare this to be her. She even has a beer stein!

Anyone in the SoFL area looking for tattoo work to be done should go and see Pooch and Scott at Altered State; their work is amazing. I can’t recommend them highly enough!
